My journey as a software engineer
I started Appelt Digital because I'm passionate about creating software that solves real problems for real people. What drives me most is understanding the users behind the systems I build and crafting solutions that genuinely make their work easier.
Over 14+ years in software engineering, I've specialized in .NET technologies and Microsoft Azure, working on everything from small MVPs to large-scale enterprise systems. I believe in writing clean, maintainable code and building architectures that stand the test of time.
Through my years in the corporate world, I've seen too many great ideas get lost in PowerPoint presentations and endless meetings. I founded Appelt Digital to work differently—to move from idea to execution quickly, focusing on delivering real value rather than just talking about it.

I build custom software solutions with focus on .NET and Azure. Lead technical implementations and deliver consulting services for IT projects of all kinds.
I was part of the leadership group in my department and helped define the technical direction and drive innovation. As lead for 2-3 teams, I took an active part in deliveries and worked to ensure developers always had the best working conditions.
I developed backend systems and APIs for various internal customers in materials development and quality assurance. Specialized in .NET technologies on Azure with a strong focus on automation.
As dev lead on various webshops for large Danish and international customers, I was responsible for technical delivery, including customer contact and high-level estimation of new tasks.
I was part of a wide range of teams where we developed custom webshops for large Danish customers.
